Look to this day:
For it is life, the very life of Look to this day:
For it is life, the very life of life.
In its brief course
Lie all the verities and realities of your existence.
The bliss of growth,
The glory of action,
The splendour of achievement
Are but experiences of time.

For yesterday is but a dream
And tomorrow is only a vision;
And today well-lived, makes
Yesterday a dream of happiness
And every tomorrow a vision of hope.
Look well therefore to this day;
Such is the salutation to the ever-new dawn!
- Kalidasa

This text has been a dear favorite of mine for many years, in fact over 20 years ago I had this as my favorite quote in my senior page of my high school year book. It spoke to my open hearted and albeit naive self so purely. To see that each day we live we are forming the very bones and structure of our life’s memories and equally impacting those around us as well. What we are creating in the future is based on the moment. Choice is so powerful, the mundane and everyday moments are the very ones that form our entire experience. Make it count, soak it up, get raw, be messy, dance in the rain, dwell in the silence, spin in the chaos, this is the stuff of your life!

xo,
You are a living Temple Your heart is beating puls You are a living Temple
Your heart is beating pulsation after pulsation in unison with the tireless force of creation itself.
Your blood is moving as current of rivers of the earth, as linked and essential as anything and everything.
This is not a flippant notion, it is fact in my bones, it is the gravity beneath my feet, as real as the sunset and the taste of oranges.
It’s easy to forget, to just get up and walk around and feel heavy in the heart from so many other real things, but also give some space for the pure and complete magic that you are.
Love,
Mia
CHAOS is a great teacher We all feel chaos from t CHAOS is a great teacher

We all feel chaos from time to time. Sometimes it’s more around us than within us, sometimes it’s more within us than around us. The two together have been happening a lot lately for me personally. It is an instant barometer for where I’m coming from…how I able to meet the experience.

The mind stirs and the body cannot rest, the heart aches and the mind cannot settle, the turning tides are all so interconnected.

For me chaos can come in different forms. All are symptoms of holding onto too much and beckon me to reflect on what is out of balance. It can show up as anxiety, restless mind, body tension, shallow breath, all versions of disconnection from my center and myself.

Chaos points me to seek the center, to return to what roots my body back into deep belly breath, to take a slower inventory of what I need for things to settle.

I’m not always going with the flow, in fact sometimes I’m swimming upstream or treading water in what feels like a hurricane. We all have storms that roll through and around us.

I’m sharing this simply because I value being human, raw and tender, I know we’re all in it in our own ways. Also because I’ve been rolling through waves of postnatal hormones and huge life adjustments that have tested the eye of the storm. I don’t have the answer other than the simple truths that work for me; reach out to friends, breath, let myself feel it all, sit still and cry, move my body & rest. Those small blessed moments of space come in and it can can feel like dancing in the center of the storm.
Wishing this handsome man of mine a very special F Wishing this handsome man of mine a very special Fathers Day! 🫶❤️💪

You’re such a stellar dad to our little crew, who just want to hang on you and with you all day (and night) long. 🌙 🐻

@bradhay_inner_revolution There aren’t enough words to express how grateful I am for your dedication to raising our kiddos with love and support, with plenty of splashes of humor, realness, grit, goofiness, and of course a serious taste for adventure.

Thank you for bringing all of you to show up again and again to being a beautiful father, to carrying them until your arms fall off, for loving them with your heart and soul, for playing all the things until the last minute before bed, for providing for us to live and thrive and be together and in connection.

We love you so big and so much!

Let your own body guide you. And you’ll know what Let your own body guide you.
And you’ll know what to do.
Your breath will discover you.
Moving slowly can bring a lot to the surface,
Sometimes it’s pleasant other times confronting.
But I always find it helpful, so insightful and most importantly good medicine for my nervous system.

Come move slowly and mindfully with me, and it doesn’t mean you won’t sweat 🔥
